Ambu Australia goes live supporting the initiatives in the new GPS Four strategy

Today, the 1st of October 2009, is the inaugural launch day of the new entity, Ambu Australia with a direct market presence in Australia and New Zealand. Ambu Australia is now operating out of their new offices in Warriewood, north of Sydney.

"As part of Ambu's aggressive global sales strategy the launch of our new Australian setup is vital. We have served our Australian customers for many years. With a direct presence I hope we can provide even better service and support to the hospitals and emergency care market," says President and CEO, Lars Marcher.

90 days from idea to accomplishment!

Anders Kolding Managing Director of Ambu Australia says, "We have spent the past 3 months establishing Ambu Australia as a legal entity. This has involved many meetings and negotiations with current distributors and dealers who have all been positive and supportive to our new market approach."

"A large number of key meetings with State Health Boards and Private Hospitals Groups promoting and presenting Ambu Australia have been conducted. Finally we are ready and have today issued our first direct invoice."

The Ambu Australia team initially constitutes of 3 experienced previous Unomedical people who will be heading the operation. "We have created a 'lean operation' with our focus being on sales and with excellent customer engagement. Our front and back office tasks as well as our logistic services have been outsourced to a well reputed company, Reef Medical as our service provider," says Anders Kolding.
