A total of approximately 2,400 shareholders had effected name registration of their shares by the end of fiscal year 2008/09, representing 93 percent of the total share capital.

To ensure the best possible communication between shareholders and the company, all shareholders are encouraged to register their holding by contacting their bank.

In accordance with section 28a of the Danish Companies Act and section 29 of the Danish Securities Trading Act, Ambu has received information that the following shareholders hold 5 percent or more of the company’s share capital:

As of 30 September 2009, members of Ambu’s Board of Directors and Executive Board owned a total of 1.3% of the share capital.

As of 30 September 2009, Ambu held a total of 87,320 treasury shares, corresponding to 0.7% of the share capital.
