Cardiology Ambu has long been a world leader in innovative cardiology electrodes. For example, the unique offset design of our ECG electrodes makes it significantly easier to attach and remove lead wires without pressing on the delicate sensor area and significantly reduces movement artefacts.
The sensor is the “heart” of the electrode and our sensors are based on the very latest silver/silver chloride technology. Not only do they provide outstanding electrical response, they also feature fast recovery after defibrillation.
Special skin-friendly adhesives allow the skin to breathe during lengthy procedures such as Holter monitoring and event recording, and ensure a perfect signal over the course of several days. Our special electrodes for stress testing have another unique adhesive that keeps them firmly in place when patients are sweating. Naturally, we also provide electrodes for pacemaker and ICD control.
