EMS has long been one of our focus areas. In fact, our Ambu Mark III resuscitator, is famous the world over as simply “the Ambu bag”. Naturally, Ambu provides many other specialised EMS products including a full range of immobilisation, resuscitation, and training devices, plus our well-known range of Ambu ECG electrodes.

Our popular Ambu Perfit Ace for cervical spinal immobilization is the only collar in the world to feature 16 different adjustments so fewer different collars need to be kept in stock. And for stabilisation on a stretcher or gurney, the Ambu Head Wedge is an easily adjusted unit that packs flat for easy storage.

Some of our Ambu ECG electrodes are mounted in groups of 10 on a stiff plastic card, which eliminates the need to remove separate backing material on each individual sensor. We also have 3 and 5-unit bags so there are no unused electrodes left lying around the ambulance. Our special sensors and adhesives provide stable signals even when patients are sweating and in shock, and are not affected by blood and other fluids.

Naturally, Ambu also provides a wide range of hygienic training manikins for teaching and practicing Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). On our more advance manikins, it is also possible to train defibrillation, intubation, and I.V. set-up.
