ECG booklet
This ECG booklet is part of the educational concept ”Professional Advisory” offered by the Cardiology group from Ambu A/S to provide users and purchasers with greater knowledge by imparting new learning, supplying better clinical documentation and sharing other helpful experiences.
The ECG booklet can be useful for doctors, nurses, technicians and anybody working within cardiology to analyze ECG patterns. It provides both examples of ECG patterns and diagnosis to match, symptoms and signs to be aware of and what treatment to offer. It also explains the function of the heart and the basic ECG pattern.

Another helpful tool produced by Ambu is an ECG ruler for fast and accurate diagnosis based on an ECG pattern.

Electrode Placement Guide
A correct placement of electrodes is essential for obtaining an optimum ECG trace.
Ambu can present a new Electrode Placement Guide that illustrates placement of electrodes for the most common applications.
The guide is available in a pocket-sized version. Each page shows placing of the electrodes for a specific application. The guide is small, easy to handle, with a smart tab index system for easy access to each application. Each page also includes a notes area, for the users’ own comments etc.
Placement of electrodes differs not only from one country to another, but also within each country from hospital to hospital. The methods are different depending on hospital procedures, hardware manufacturer etc. Therefore, with this guide we have come up with a recommended method of electrode placement.
