Stock Exchange Release no 7-2007/08: Interim report for Q2 2007/08 08-05-2008
The positive development continued into Q2 2007/08. Revenue in the US market rose by 18% in Q2 2007/08 compared to Q2 2006/07. Total revenue was up 7% in Q2 2007/08 reported in local currencies, and growth was generated by a broad range of products. The outlook for 2007/08 remains unchanged.  Read more >

Ambu is again seeing positive growth after a disappointing closing of FY 2006/07. Revenue in the US market was up 29% in Q1 relative to Q4 2006/07 and up 44% relative to Q1 2006/07. Total revenue increased by 19% in Q1 2007/08 when reported in local currencies, and growth is broadly based. The outlook for 2007/08 is unchanged.  Read more >

Ambu saw a high level of activity in Q3, but the decision not to go ahead with heavily discounted sales to a number of large customers in the USA means that, as announced on 20 August 2007, revenue and earnings for FY 2006/07 will be lower than previously announced. At Ambu’s annual general meeting in December 2006, the Board of Directors was authorised to increase the company’s Class B share capital by a total nominal amount of up to DKK 2,000,000 in the form of bonus shares issued to Ambu employees, corresponding to 200,000 Class B shares of DKK 10 each to be subscribed by the group’s employees and with no preemptive right of subscription for the company’s current shareholders.  Read more >

In Q1 Ambu focused on implementing the sales and product development activities which were decided in connection with the review of Strategy 2008 in autumn 2006. In Q1 2006/07 organic growth in revenue amounted to 6% while the operating profit (EBIT) was DKK 9.3m. Sales of the newer products accounted for 23% of revenue in Q1. For FY 2006/07, Ambu still expects revenue in the region of DKK 765m and an operating profit of approx. DKK 100m. Read more >
