Ambu is dedicated to supporting genuine medical education through the provision of restricted Educational Grants to Healthcare Organizations and Professional Conference Organizers. These Grants may be used to support Healthcare Professionals’ participation in Third-Party Educational Events, to fund the organization of such events, or to promote public awareness initiatives that align with Ambu’s ethical and compliance standards.
Additionally, Ambu further supports medical advancement through Scholarships and Fellowships aimed at enhancing the education of Healthcare Professionals. These Grants must be requested exclusively by Healthcare Organizations. Ambu remains uninvolved in the selection of individual beneficiaries to ensure fairness, independence, and transparency throughout the process.
Application and Approval Process
All Educational Grant Applications must be submitted by Healthcare Organizations or Professional Conference Organizers at least 60 days prior to the start of the proposed activity or program to allow appropriate review. Applications that do not meet this timeline may be subject to rejection.
Educational Grants must be requested by completing the Ambu Educational Grant Application and submitting it along with the required documentation to compliance@ambu.com. The Application Form outlines the necessary information and supporting documents required for our assessment.
All Educational Grants Applications will be reviewed by Ambu’s Grant Committee, and Applicants will be notified about the decision following the review.
Approval from the Conference Vetting System
Educational Grants to support Healthcare Professionals in attending International Third-Party Organized Educational Events, whether held within or outside the MedTech Europe Geographic Area, must be approved by the Conference Vetting System (CVS) prior to proceeding.
The CVS independently evaluates the compliance of such events to determine whether support in the form of Educational Grants from companies like Ambu is appropriate. In most cases, CVS approval is a prerequisite for initiating a Grant request.
To confirm an event’s approval status, applicants should refer to: Conference Search.

- It should be near a city or town which is recognized as a scientific or business centre, suitable for hosting an Event or a space that is conducive to fostering the exchange of ideas and the transmission of knowledge.
4. Guests

5. Accommodation, Travel, and Other Services
- The Educational Grant must not be used for payment or reimbursement of Healthcare Professionals’ lodging expenses at top-category or luxury hotels.

6. Transparency
- If a Grant Recipient has previously received an Educational Grant from Ambu but has failed to provide sufficient documentation confirming that the Grant was used for the agreed purpose and amount, they may be disqualified from receiving future Educational Grants until the required documentation is submitted to Ambu.
