Micro-Preemie Simulator Light
The Micro-Preemie Simulator corresponds to the appearance of a premature infant of the 25th week of pregnancy and is suitable for training of care and handling techniques for infants requiring multiple medical interventions at the limits of viability.
The simulator allows the practice of delivery scenarios, observation and measurement, monitoring, skin, and wound care as well as cleaning and diaper changing.
Interchangeable airways and chest block
Two exchangeable airways will be delivered, a normal and a difficult airway. Also included are two chest blocks that simulate a bilateral expansion of the lung or an unilateral collapse of the lung with the possibility of main stem intubation.
The soft and lifelike umbilicus has a functioning patent vessel that offers blood withdrawal or infusion of fluids.
The scope of delivery includes also two different mountable birth defects: An omphalocele and a neural tube defect (myelomeningocele).
